Water leaks can arise from plumbing problems, roof issues or A/C complications. Whether you are faced with a small or large amount of water, quick action can avoid costly repairs down the road. We can help to address the source of the issue, remove the standing water, dry out affected materials and clean or repair the damaged property.
We use the latest moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras to locate the water and use professional high capacity water extracting equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers and HEPA air purifiers to return your home to normal moisture levels.
Plumbing Leaks – Water issues can arise from many sources in your home. The kitchen sink, dishwasher, bathroom toilet, sink or tub/shower, washing machine and water heater all have the potential to cause water damage. Problems can come from either the supply lines or drains. Some homes were built with faulty connections within the supply lines in their homes. To minimize the damage, immediate action is required. If it is a supply issue turn off the local shut off valve or the homes main shut off. If the water is from the drain, discontinue the use of that item. If you are unsure of the source of water, a water leak detection service may be required. After the problem is addressed immediate water remediation needs to be performed.
Roof Leaks – Roof repairs should be the first line of defense from water intrusion. If repairs are unsuccessful or cannot be done timely, roof tarping should be done to stop any further water intrusion. After the leak is addressed the extent of the damage should be assessed and immediate restoration should begin.
A/C Leaks – Both rusted drain pans and clogged drain lines are common sources of water leaks. Because the A/C units are placed away from view, these problems may not be known until the first site of the water leak. Although typically not large water events, immediate action should be taken to avoid more extensive or long-term damage
Flood Water – Grey water carrying bacteria & chemicals can make the air in your home unhealthy. Even if there is no visible evidence of mold, extreme remediation protocols must be expeditiously followed to bring your home back to being inhabitable.
